Editing the Reservation File

A reservation file defines groups of users or computers for whom license tokens can be reserved. The reservation file also can be used to exclude specific users or computers from using certain licenses.

From the Edit menu of WlmAdmin, you can select the Reservation File command to call the WlsGrMgr utility to create a new reservation file or edit an existing one. For information on WlsGrMgr and reservation files, see Editing the Reservation File on Windows (WlsGrMgr).

Editing the Redundant License File

The redundant license file defines which license servers make up the redundant license server pool.

From the Edit menu of WlmAdmin, you can select the Redundant License File command to call the WRlfTool utility to create a new redundant license file or edit an existing one. Shutting Down the License Server

In the license server pane of the main WlmAdmin window, right-click on the license server you want to shut down and select Shutdown Server from the menu. For information on privileges needed to shut down a server, see User Privileges.
