The echouid command determines a license upgrade lock code and is used to provide information to the developer that can be used to create an upgrade license code. The fingerprint distinguishes one license code from another.
Using Windows navigator look for echouid.exe. The exact location of this file depends on your vendor. Run echouid at MSDOS prompt and then follow the instructions.
Using the Echouid Search Menu select the base license that needs to be upgraded. The Echouid Search Menu allows you to Browse through licenses, Search by license details and Search by order in license file <line number>.
After selecting the desired base license, generate the upgrade lock code from the License Details Sub-Menu and send the same to your vendor who will provide you the upgrade license code.
