Trial License Precedence

The trial license can have any of the following precedence:

• Positive values: The positive values between 1 and 2147483647 set the preference order among trial licenses; higher the value, higher will be the priority
• -1: Sets the highest priority, irrespective of the license type (higher than normal licenses as well)
• 0: The license cannot be used under any circumstance.

Setting Precedence of a Trial License

Using lslic

You can set the trial license precedence using the lslic utility as follows:

Format:

-p feature-name feature version license hash precedence

If no parameter is specified, it will prompt one by one.

Using WlmAdmin

You can set the trial license precedence using the WlmAdmin utility as follows:

1. Select the trial license for a feature in the left panel of the utility.
2. Right-click to open a short-cut menu.
3. Select Set precedence. It will be shown only for a trial license.
4. Type the precedence value.
5. Click OK.
6. Refresh the license status to see the modified priority of the trial license.
